Film composer Kira Fontana writes riveting original music that powerfully realizes the director's vision. Classically trained at the world-renowned Eastman School of Music and Yale University, Fontana's personal mentors include legendary composers Steve Reich and John Adams, as well as Oscar nominee David Lang. Her award-winning music has been performed by some of the top classical musicians in the world, including members of New York's acclaimed ensembles Alarm Will Sound and So Percussion.

Fontana recently composed the original music for breakout-hit film Kedi, described as a "mesmerizing score" by the New York Times. Directed by Ceyda Torun, Kedi quickly became the 3rd highest grossing foreign language documentary of all time, while earning a 98% critic's score on Rotten Tomatoes. Time Magazine named Kedi the #5 film of 2017.
